Who We Are

FoleyCerilli devotes its practice to personal injury litigation. Its partners, John Foley and Peter Cerilli, together have over 50 years of experience representing clients who have been injured as the result of the negligence of others. John and Peter have both been recognized by their peers as experts in the field of personal injury litigation. Their accomplishments have earned them recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® and as both Rhode Island and New England Super Lawyers®. They are two of only 30 lawyers in Rhode Island who have qualified for membership in the Rhode Island chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a national organization of trial lawyers whose members must demonstrate an exceptional level of skill, experience, and integrity as trial lawyers to qualify for membership.

John and Peter have represented clients at both the trial and appellate levels in the state and federal courts in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. They frequently lecture to their colleagues on behalf of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Rhode Island Association for Justice, and other organizations on various topics related to personal injury litigation.
